Creating Social Impact: Strategies from a Gay, Brown, Female Entrepreneur

Fri, Jun 26 (5:30am - 6:30am)

Description

Join us to learn to develop and implement socially responsible values in your start-up/projects.

Pride month is here and is going to look different than we are used to. So far 2020 has given us a pandemic, lay-offs and economic volatility, and now widespread protests and civil unrest. No matter the color of our skin, gender, or sexual orientation, we are all being forced to ask ourselves difficult questions about identity, equality, and social responsibility.

As American entrepreneurs and founders, how can we influence our communities and implement a socially responsible mission?

Join Kashish Parikh-Chopra for this open and direct session.

Attendees will:

  • Hear Ms. Chopra’s personal journey as an openly gay, American-born South Asian entrepreneur – the highs and lows
  • Learn 3 strategies to develop and implement socially responsible values in your start-up/projects
  • Walk away with practical tools
  • Find some inspiration that beyond the doom and gloom in the news, there is a lot to be thankful and excited for in our roles as founders

This will be an interactive, live online event and will include a live Q&A session.

If you would like to submit questions for Kashish to address in the session, please email: kashish@therebelgenius.me
